Faith Community Lutheran Church Scott Loughridge I want to take a moment to personally thank you and the entire SR team for the outstanding job you have done for our church and schools. You have our deepest and most heartfelt gratitude for walking us through the design/build process. As the Senior Pastor of Faith Community Lutheran Church, it was my job to oversee this entire 5 million dollar plus project. Your patient understanding with a construction neophyte like me was much needed and extremely appreciated. By most standards this building program should have been challenging at the least and a five pack of Rolaids a day a the worst. However, because of the exceptional team you put together it was a cake walk; really! One of the life skills we teach as Christians is to live with integrity. That little nine letter word is packed with meaning. Honesty, truthfulness, dependability, reliability, honor are just a few aspects of integrity. It was a privilege for us to have SR Construction as our contractor for the building of our Bell Tower. The project was unique and presented several challenges. However, the SR people were more than equal to each concern which came up and took care of each situation in an efficient and professional manner. We are very pleased with the fine work on the tower and especially with the courteous and conscientious manner in which it was done. We appreciate all the pains taken to keep the church from experiencing any inconvenience or disruption during the course of construction. Thank you for going the extra mile for us! SR Construction has undertaken two complex projects for us over the last three years and more than proved themselves to both us and our clients. In our opinion, they are one of the top construction firms in the State of Nevada. I can attest that Scott Loughridge is a man of honesty and integrity and his staff follows suit. The projects on which we worked together were both for a dingle client; namely Green Valley Presbyterian Church. The first project was a Carillon Tower, which housed two concealed cellular sites and a 560 seat sanctuary. Both projects met with a resounding success. In fact, SR Construction was asked by the Session of GVPC to negotiate the construction of the sanctuary because of the very positive experience the session enjoyed when SR constructed the Carillon Tower. They were not disappointed by their decision. Therefore, I am quite sure that when the next phase of construction commences for the expansion of Green Valley Presbyterian Church, SR Construction will be the contractor. Sincerely, Jess Holmes, FAIA I was sitting in church this last Saturday night and suddenly realized that the repairs you and your people had done to the roof trusses were complete and that they turned out beautifully. I just happened to glance up (certainly not during the sermon, of course) and noticed that I didn't see any repairs. I will attest that the repairs have been made because I saw them before the cosmetic touch-up had been done. They were very obvious at that time. The repairs you made absolutely disappeared. I'm sure someone has thanked you for what you've done, and I wanted to add my most heartfelt thanks as well. I know I'll sleep better and can stop fretting over the issue. I also wanted to thank you for having the AC system looked at and for the following up on putting new return air into Susan's office and for the modifications to the sanctuary system as well. I've spoken with Susan and she seemed happy with her situation. We've had no feedback from the choir yet on the sanctuary air, but I'm sure we will be hearing something soon. Scott, it's a distinct pleasure for me to know you and to regard you as one of the most dedicated and committed contractors I've ever had the pleasure of associating with. We were pleased with their work in constructing an administrative office building and paving 2 1/2 acres of parking. They came in on budget, and finished on time without compromising the quality of the project. We will be using them again in 2000 as we build a 15,000 square foot school and a 20,000 square foot community center. Our questions and concerns are always handled professionally and courteously. They have also worked well with our architect. We highly recommend SR Construction and their services. Your quality, professionalism, character, and attention to detail is unequaled among contractors we have been associated with throughout the years. In our culture where promises are often made and not kept, using many excuses, it has been refreshing to see you and your employees to be people who follow through on every commitment. It is usually easier for most to make excuses why something cannot or should not be done. Your attitude is to find a way to make it happen if at all possible, because it is the desire of the owner/builder. This too is rare these days. These commendable and rare character traits were most exemplified in our Construction Superintendent, Fred Kravetz. We had heard your Superintendents are among the very best.
