Rhino Construction Group is a Tennessee based design-build firm serving commercial, institutional and industrial businesses across the Southeast.

The company was originally founded by Guy Harrison in 1975 as Harrison Construction. Upon his retirement in 1993, his son Richard Harrison redirected the primary focus of the business from general contracting toward design/build and construction management services. These projects quickly became the rule rather than the exception and in 1995 Rhino Construction, LLC, was officially formed.

In 2000, Rhino expanded to include an autonomous industrial division when B.J. VanCleave joined Mr. Harrison as a partner, bringing over 30 years of dedicated commercial and industrial construction experience to the firm. In 2001, Rhino again expanded by adding our retail services group targeting the highly specialized retail market.

Over the past 15 years, Rhino has transformed from a local competitive bid organization to a regional firm that negotiates nearly 100% of the work they perform. Rhino Construction Group has earned a reputation for providing high quality, full-service construction and professional services to businesses and industries across the Southeast. Over 90% of their projects are with repeat customers and include long term relationships with multiple Fortune 500 organizations.
Rhino Construction Group is an active member of the National Association of Church Design Builders (NACDB) and the Jack Miller Network. They hold multiple unlimited licenses in over 12 states and primarily perform work in the Southeast and Midwest, although they have completed projects in almost 30 states. Their home office is in Milan, Tennessee, about half way between Memphis and Nashville about 15 minutes north of I-40.
