Steve Shehorn received an Associate Degree in Architectural Technology at Illinois Central College in East Peoria, Illinois before transferring to Indianapolis. He obtained his Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from Purdue University School of Engineering IUPUI Campus, graduating in 1984.
Upon Graduation from Purdue, Steve went to work with a commercial painting and wall-covering firm which exposed him to many large-scale commercial projects in central Indiana. Later, he managed a satellite office in Orlando, Florida.
In May of 1988, Steve came to work for T&W as an estimator. He worked his way up in the company for over sixteen years, finally securing his currently held position of Vice President. Steve has also served on T&W’s Board of Directors since 1998 and currently provides administrative management of Operations.
Steve is very active in his church, Lakeview Christian Center, focusing strongly on men's ministry; he has served on the Indiana district Honor Bound Men's Ministry Cabinet for the Assemblies of God. Steve is also an area director for "Light for The Lost", an evangelical literature arm of the Assemblies of God. Steve also has a heart for missions and serves as an Elder at Lakeview Christian Center as well.
Steve and his wife, Teri, reside in Bargersville where they have lived for twelve years with their three children, Ryan, Becky and Callie. Their son Ryan is currently in active duty with the Army 502nd infantry at Ft. Campbell, KY.
As Vice President, it is Steve's responsibility to serve as his client's construction advocate by ensuring that their desires and needs are incorporated into a clearly defined scope through each phase of development, from Discovery to Architecture to final Construction; making certain that consistent and accurate budgeting culminates into a completed project that exceeds each client's expectations. |
