Doug Hood is General Manager and Senior Design Consultant for Custom Sound Designs Inc. (CSD). CSD is a national design/build firm headquartered in northeast Indiana.

Explaining the reason for the company's success, Doug states, "I believe that everything we have is a gift from God - every client and every project. Being a Christian owned and operated company whose focus is churches, we are able to strongly partner with our clients to achieve a common goal. The most exciting part of my job is standing in the church on their opening Sunday service, knowing that CSD is helping them to reach their community for Christ."

Mr. Hood is a member of the Audio Engineering Society (AES), National Systems Contractor's Association (NSCA), National Association of Church Design Builders (NACDB), and an advisory board member of Church & Worship Technology magazine. He is also a graduate of Taylor University where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree with a double major of Music Composition and Bible. His background in design, drafting and engineering, is complimented by acoustic and audio design toolds including EASE 4.0 and Modeler/Auditioner, in which Doug has achieved the highest possible certification: Certified Auditioner Designer.
