Bob is a new “old hand” in church facility design and management. After serving in church administrative and ministry positions for over 23 years, Bob joined the JH Batten Team in 2004 in order to further his passion: helping churches make the most of ministry opportunities through effective use of all their resources. This passion, along with JH Batten’s strong construction background, makes a strong team for churches seeking to expand their ministries.

Staying on top of current trends through research, networking and seminar attendance, Bob is a graduate of Tennessee Technological University with a BS in Accounting, and from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary with a Masters in Church Administration and Communication. Continuing education includes a Fellow in the National Association of Church Business Administrators; Certified Church Administrator Program at Emory University; Level I & II Equipping Church Training from the Leadership Training Network; and Certified Church Consultant from the National Association of Church Design Builders (NACDB).

Bob and his wife Anita of 25 years have four children: Jonathan, 24; Jason, 20; Amy, 16; and Aaron, 12.
