CORE – Design Group, LLC, an architectural and engineering church design firm with offices in York, PA and Perryville, MD, was created in July of 2005 by architectural veterans Peter Lutz and Teen Vebares to ultimately determine their own identity. Pete’s and Teen’s simple philosophy at CORE - Design Group is to know our clients as individuals so we are better able to understand and help our clients realize their goals.
At CORE – Design Group, we strive to have a balanced understanding of both the functional and aesthetic elements that are vital to the success of all projects, while knowing that Architecture is not defined by architects, but by the needs of the clients we serve. We work with all types of institutional, corporate, commercial, and industrial clients with a shared vision of creating enduring design through collaboration.
As part of our growth process, CORE – Design Group is LEED certified and is a member of USGBC (US Green Building Council).
Contrary to the misconception that architects do not take project budgets into consideration, CORE – Design Group understands and emphasizes the importance of maintaining budgets and schedules. Keeping the project on-schedule with maximum return on investment is very important to us on all of our projects.
